HARD CHARGE and Children's Miracle Network Fargo
FARGO, ND (Feb. 5, 2013) — HARD CHARGETM, the premier obstacle running event, proudly announces its partnership with Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Hospital. The two are teaming up for the HARD CHARGE Fargo televised obstacle mission, scheduled June 15, 2013. Registration is open to everyone at HardCharge.com/fargo.
“Our philosophy is about promoting healthy lifestyles, getting active and having fun, and making a positive impact on the local communities where our events are held,” HARD CHARGE President, Greg Lang, said. “It makes Children’s Miracle Network an ideal partner for us. Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s does so much to improve the health of children across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. We’re excited to help inform people about all the great work Children’s Miracle Network does.”
According to Hillery Mork, Children’s Miracle Network program director for Children’s Miracle Network at Sanford Children’s Hospital, HARD CHARGE is a great match for her team’s mission, saying, “We’re very rooted in our local CMN communities and HARD CHARGE shares those same community-focused values. We feel the Fargo CHARGE offers us many great opportunities to further awareness of Children’s Miracle Network, as well the challenges faced by local children and their families who have benefited from Sanford Children’s Hospital.”
Participants in HARD CHARGE Fargo have the opportunity to donate to Children’s Miracle Network at the time of registration or on CHARGE day. CHARGE for Children T-shirts will be available at the event, with all proceeds staying local and benefiting Children’s Miracle Network. Those looking to get involved and support Children’s Miracle Network may also sign up to volunteer on CHARGE day. Details are available at HardCharge.com/get-involved/volunteer.
Registration for HARD CHARGE Fargo is open to everyone at HardCharge.com/fargo. The four-mile obstacle mission will take place at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo. Kicking off at 9 a.m., the day includes multiple heats and wraps up with a post-race party with music, food and beverages.
