Cedar Rapids' premier obstacle course & mud run

The event of the summer is coming to Cedar Rapids, July 20, 2013. If you're ready to run a fun, challenging obstacle course with plenty of mud, gear up for HARD CHARGE Eastern Iowa. Four and a half miles, more than 20 obstacles and an awesome post-race party await this summer at Seminole Valley Park.

Race to your goal time in the CHARGE for Glory heats beginning at 9 a.m. Or, navigate the course at your own pace in the CHARGE for Fun heats starting at 11 a.m. Whether CHARGING or cheering, be sure you don’t miss the Televised CHARGE at 3 p.m., where the best individual competitors and teams in each division will face off to earn a spot on the televised series.

Fun or Glory, team or individual, volunteer or spectator. Regardless of your choice, be sure you’re there for HARD CHARGE Eastern Iowa!

How To Charge:

HARD CHARGE is the toughest experience you will ever love! Our events are four to six miles of obstacles, mud and mayhem. Each course is designed to challenge you and get you pumped up for the awesome post-race party at CHARGER Village - complete with food, fun and a free beer for CHARGERS 21 and older. It doesn’t matter your current fitness level, HARD CHARGE will test you and push you to the max. When the dust has settled and the mud has dried, you'll already be looking forward to taking on your next HARD CHARGE mission!

What's In Store

Fire up for a fun and intense HARD CHARGE course that will get you muddy, sweaty and maybe even a little bloody - but rest assured, we'll have world-class medical professionals ready and rarin' to go. Navigate the course at your own pace individually, or tackle the mission with your team. And don't worry if you can't make it through an obstacle. There are plenty more waiting to be conquered!

When you finish, head over to CHARGER Village for the post-race party. For CHARGERS 21 and older, your HARD work pays off big time and gets you a well-deserved and free beer. It's the ultimate experience and one you won't want to miss!

What's In Store

This is the time to put it all out there. Give it everything you've got and compete for the chance to be on TV on a HARD CHARGE course designed to test your speed, strength and stamina. Timed and marshaled, you'll be put to the test throughout the entire course. Can't make it through and obstacle? You're gonna pay!

Awards will be given to the top ten male and female finishers in each division, as well as top six co-ed teams. The top individual competitors and co-ed teams will qualify for the televised heat held later in the day. Best of all, CHARGE for Glory heats are more limited in size, offering competitors minimal congestion and maximum opportunity for a personal best.

For all your efforts, you'll reap awesome rewards at the post-race party at CHARGER Village. This is where the HARD work really pays off for CHARGERS 21 and older, in the form of a tall, tasty and free beer. It's an event unlike any other and one you'll be itching to do again!
